Many timber piles look healthy until further investigation is done. In this case, water and sand have abraded the pile below the sand surface and has weakened the pile significantly. Testing is then required in order to determine the extent of the damage. Often, piles like these are found to have become hollow on the inside.

The Epoxy Doctor uses a variety of repair methods to fill voids within piles, strengthen piles, and protect them from further damage. Each repair typically entails a thorough cleaning of the pile, filling any voids within, curing the wood, structurally enhancing the pile, and protecting the area of interest from further damage as best as possible. Each timber pile is unique and the needs of each individual pile and may vary.
